10,000 New Houses
What It Means for Our Future?
Plans are underway to build 10,000 houses on Southend’s Green Belt land near Bournes Green Chase.
There is no clear commitment to the essential infrastructure, schools, roads, healthcare, and transport that would be needed to support such a large development.
This will affect you!
Local services are already stretched, and building on this land without proper planning will only make things worse for everyone.
If you believe this development is wrong for Southend, write to your MP, Southend Council, and the New Towns Taskforce. Tell them to reject this plan and protect our Green Belt. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
Please view this interesting video about the greenbelt, planning laws & how every Council is destroying nature.
